Welcome to Cirro Energy! We look forward to serving you. As mentioned in the letter you received from Texans Energy, your retail electricity service will be transferred from World Power and Gas, LP dba Texans Energy will be transferring your service to U.S. Retailers LLC dba Cirro Energy in June 2020. Cirro Energy has the resources to provide you with long-term service and value. We are working with Texans Energy to carry out a seamless transition of your electricity service.

Texans Energy will begin transferring customers to Cirro Energy 30 days after the date of this letter. Expect your service to be completely transferred in June 2020.
No. The transition to Cirro Energy will not cause any service interruptions.
To avoid possibly service interruption, please make any payments billed by Texans Energy to Texans Energy. To do so, please continue sending the payments to the PO Box currently shown on your invoices.
Texans Energy accounts will transfer to Cirro Energy in June 2020. If you have an email address on file, you will receive notification when your electricity service begins with Cirro Energy. If you do not have an email address on file, you will receive your first bill by mail within 45 days after the account transitions.
Yes. In order to avoid disconnect prior to the transfer from Texans Energy, you must maintain any previous payment arrangements made with Texans Energy. Payment must be made to Texans Energy to restore power should your account get disconnected.
It will stay the same. Cirro Energy is honoring all current pricing plans from Texans Energy.
If you are not currently enrolled in Autopay, the transition will be seamless and no action is required. If you have automatic payment set up with Texans Energy and you want to continue with Autopay, you will need to re-enroll at cirroenergy.com once you receive your new account number. To ensure the security of your Autopay information, it will not automatically transfer.
No. Your current plan, including your plan expiration date, will remain intact. However, you will have a new account number with Cirro Energy. Your electricity service will be under the same plan term length and rate that you had with Texans Energy. The only change will be the name of the plan.
This will NOT transfer automatically. If you are on Autopay with Texans Energy, you will need to set up Autopay separately with Cirro Energy (after your Cirro Energy account has been created and you have received your account number*). Once your Cirro Energy account is established, you may go online to cirroenergy.com/my or call Cirro Energy at 1-800-692-4776 to have Autopay added to your new account.
Yes. You will need to update your payment information per the remittance instructions on your first invoice with Cirro Energy. However, you will need to use your current payment information to pay the last bill you receive from Texans Energy.
No, Cirro Energy does not take American Express. You can pay your Cirro Energy bills through our online account management system using your checking account or online or by phone using your Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card.

Please contact Texans Energy if you want to cancel your account. Please note that your cancellation or early termination fees, if applicable, will apply. If you have further questions, contact our customer service team at 1-877-455-4674. Please perform this action prior to the beginning of the transition process, scheduled for June 2020.
Texans Energy will refund your credit balance to you once your account is transferred to Cirro Energy and your Texans Energy account has been closed.
Texans Energy online bill pay accounts will remain open for a period of time to allow you to pay your final bill and access any previous billing history. Please contact Texans Energy for any additional questions regarding online account access.
If you have changed electricity providers, your account will remain active with that provider and your service will not be impacted by this transition.
You may pay your bill by a variety of methods, such as automatic bank draft or credit card payments (except American Express), as well as one-time payments and pay-by-mail. Use our online account management tool at cirroenergy.com/my to set up your payment method. Cirro Energy also accepts payments through our automated phone system or by speaking directly with one of our Customer Care Representatives.
No. The amount on the deferred payment plan will NOT transfer to Cirro Energy. After your account is transferred from Texans Energy, you will receive your last bill from Texans Energy, and your entire balance, including the amount that was included in the deferred payment plan, will be due in full at that time to Texans Energy. If you have questions about your last bill from Texans Energy, please contact Texans Energy.
Yes. Once you receive your account number from Cirro Energy, and set up your online account management access, you can change your billing preference at any time.
For your convenience, Texans Energy will transition all deposits, including accrued interest, to Cirro Energy. This means you will NOT have to pay an additional deposit due to the switch. Your deposit will continue to accrue interest and will be returned after 12 consecutive on-time payments, including months of on-time payments made to Texans Energy. After you have completed a combined 12 months of on-time payments for your service with Texans Energy and your service with Cirro Energy, Cirro Energy will refund your deposit.
If it is before your transition date of June 2020, please contact Texans Energy at renewals@mytexansenergy.com or call Customer Service at 1-855-508-3926 and you will be able to renew your contract. Your new plan will transfer with your account to Cirro Energy. If the transition to Cirro Energy has been initiated, and it is June 2020, please call Cirro Energy at 1-800-692-4776 and our Customer Care Team can help you select a new plan.
