Discount Power will transfer accounts to Cirro Energy in November 2018. If you have an email address on file, you will receive notification when service begins with Cirro Energy. If you do not have an email address on file, you will receive your first bill within 45 days after the account transitions.
It will stay the same. Cirro Energy is honoring all current contracted energy charges from Discount Power.
No. Your current plan will remain intact. However, you will have a new account number with Cirro Energy. Your electricity service will be under the same plan term length and rate that you had with Discount Power. The only change will be the name of the plan.
This will NOT transfer automatically. If you are on Auto Pay with Discount Power, you will need to set up Auto Pay separately with Cirro Energy after your Cirro Energy account has been created*.
Once your Cirro Energy account is established, you may go online to Cirroenergy.com/my or call Cirro at 1.800.692.4776 to have Auto Pay added to your new account.

There is no need to do anything differently. Your last invoice, along with any payments for your remaining balance for your Discount Power account, can be made in the same manner you have used to pay your previous invoices.
Discount Power will refund your credit balance to you once your account is transferred to Cirro Energy and your Discount Power account has been closed.
Discount Power online bill pay accounts will remain open for a period of time to allow you to pay your final bill and access any previous billing history. Please contact Discount Power for any additional questions regarding online account access.
Yes. In order to avoid disconnect prior to the transfer from Discount Power, you must maintain any previous payment arrangements made with Discount Power. Payment must be made to Discount Power to restore power should your account get disconnected.
No. The amount on the deferred payment plan will NOT transfer to Cirro Energy. After your account is transferred from Discount Power, you will receive your last bill from Discount Power, and your entire balance, including the amount that was included in the deferred payment plan, will be due in full at that time. If you have questions about your last bill from Discount Power, please contact Discount Power.
You may pay your bill by a variety of methods. You may set up automatic bank draft or automatic credit card payments through our online account management tool at www.cirroenergy.com/my. You may also log in and make one-time payments using your bank account information or using your Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit cards. Cirro Energy also accepts payments through our automated phone system or by speaking directly with one of our Customer Care Representatives. You may also mail your payment to the remittance in your monthly statement, as well as at Fidelity Express walk-up payment locations. Cirro Energy does not accept American Express.
Yes. Discount Power will transfer your preferred billing method (eBill notification and/or paper billing) with your account information to Cirro Energy.
For your convenience, Discount Power will transition all deposits, including accrued interest, to Cirro Energy. This means you will NOT have to pay an additional deposit due to the switch. Your deposit will continue to accrue interest and will be returned after 12 consecutive on-time payments.
