    The CARE program was created to help customers facing financial hardship pay their electricity bills.

    If you are a Cirro Energy customer and need help paying your electricity bill, visit one of our CARE agency partners below. You can also call 2-1-1 or visit 211texas.org for agency assistance near you.

    Although each agency's requirements are different, you may have to show proof of need, like your last electricity bill and a disconnection notice. If needed, you can access your bill in your online account or request a copy of your disconnection notice by calling 1-800-692-4776

    How it works:

    • Visit one of the CARE agencies listed on this page or call 2-1-1 . While 2-1-1 Texas does not administer funds directly, they can connect you with agency partners in your area.
    • Call the agency in your area for qualifications, appointment availability and information about the application process. If you have been issued a disconnection notice, inform the agency to see if they can expedite the process.
    • If you qualify, it may take up to 8 weeks to receive financial assistance.
    • Assistance is issued at the discretion of our agency partners to eligible customers, and it may not cover your entire electricity bill.
