Deposit Options
A deposit must be paid for service to begin. Here’s how you can pay it:
- Visit: My Cirro online

- Send a check: Cirro Energy | P.O. Box 3765 | Houston, TX 77253-3765
We’ll process your request once we receive your check. - Pay in person: Visit one of our Fidelity Express locations at Kroger and Fiesta stores.
Alternatives for paying a deposit
Instead of paying a deposit, you may submit one of the following for us to review. Please send the requested information via email to DepositOptions@USRetailersenergy.com or fax it to 1-877-619-0161, or mail it to P.O. Box 3765, Houston, TX, 77253-3765. (Note: Any email attachments must be in PNG, JPEG or PDF format.) Please be sure to include the following with your request :
- Customer name
- Contact number
- Account number
- Your service address
- Department (Credit Ops)

Letter of Guarantee from a current, qualified Cirro Energy customer

Letter of Credit from your most recent electricity provider
- If you are a prospective or returning customer.
- Whether you have been a retail electric provider (REP)/electric utility customer within the past two years.
- That you are not past due on your account (the one that’s being referenced to establish service credit with us).
- That you do not have any disconnect notices, disconnect requests or more than one late payment within the past 12 months.
If your spouse is providing the letter, his/her name must be listed on the previous provider’s account. If not, proof of legal marital status (i.e., marriage certificate or divorce decree) must also be provided.

Proof that you are at least 65 years old
- Valid, unexpired state-issued identification card (front and back)
- Driver’s license from the United States (front and back)
- Passport (Be sure to include both the photo and the signature pages in the image submitted of the open book including all four corners.)
- Alien Registration card (front and back)
- Consulate ID/Matricula Consular (for any country) (front and back)
- Texas Concealed Handgun License (front and back)
- Social Security card (front and back)

Proof that you are active military personnel

Proof that you are medically indigent
- For Section 2, the name on your Cirro Energy account must match the name on the form. Additionally, your primary address must match the address on your account.
- For Section 3, a certified representative (i.e., Social Security office or a government-funded energy assistance program provider) must complete this section, or you may attach proof of government assistance (i.e., Social Security or retirement income, unemployment or worker's compensation, or child support/alimony documents) to the form.
- For Section 4, your health care physician must complete and sign this section.
- Completion of the Income Calculation Worksheet on page 2 is not required, but it will help us decide if the income eligibility portion of the requirements in Section 3 has been met.
Once your form has been processed and approved, your security deposit will be covered and your request for service will be processed.

Proof that you are a victim of family violence
- The Texas Council on Family Violence
- Treating medical personnel
- Law enforcement personnel
- The office of a Texas district attorney or county attorney
- The office of the attorney general
- Grantees of the Texas Equal Access to Justice Foundation (If you don’t have the completed documentation, you may obtain it from your caseworker.)

Proof that you are a low-income customer
- Medicaid award letter
- Proof of eligibility for food stamps
You will pay the first half of the required deposit amount, and the other half will be billed with your initial invoice (once we receive and approve proper LITE-UP/low-income documentation).

Information for New Occupancy
If you recently moved, we may be waiting for two documents of confirmation from you:
- New Occupant Confirmation Form : Please include the ESID number for your service address on this form.
- A photocopy of one of the forms of additional documentation listed in the form.

Personal Identification
If we were unable to verify personal identification during the enrollment process, we’ll need a copy of one of the following valid forms of identification:
- Valid, unexpired state-issued identification card (front and back)
- Driver’s license from the United States (front and back)
- Passport (Be sure to include both the photo and the signature pages in the image submitted of the open book including all four corners.)
- Alien Registration card (front and back)
- Consulate ID / Matricula Consular (for any country) (front and back)
- Texas Concealed Handgun License (front and back)
- Social Security card (front and back)

Deed/Lease Verification
If notified of a deed/lease hold on your enrollment, please submit a copy of your entire deed or lease (account holder’s name must be on document) via email to addressconfirmation@usretailers.com, or fax it to 1-877-619-0161. Please be sure to include the following in your email or fax cover sheet:
